Top 5 Rituals for the Mind and Spirit to reduce Stress
1) Journal your heart out
Journaling is my favorite practice to release any kind of stress. The more clarity you have, the more better decisions you can make. Stress stems from not knowing what to do and overthinking the worst case scenarios. When you write your fears and anxious thoughts on paper you will realize how baseless and invalid they are giving you clarity and a sense of calmness.
2) Go Nature Walking
When we are in nature we tend to be in a peaceful and calm mindset. That is because the plants and the trees vibrate on a higher frequency than us. We are more in tune with ourselves when we allow nature to heal us.
3) Use Aromatherapy and Essential Oils to reframe your mindset and balance your emotions.
Essential oils have been found extremely helpful in balancing emotional responses and raising our self-awareness so that we can be mindful and intentional in our everyday life. Essential oils boosts mood and can help in creating a calming and peaceful ambience in our home and mind.
4) Do more of what you love and Enjoy
Sometimes we are usually stress because we do too much of what we don't enjoy and then we can't find time for the things that makes our soul happy.
So be intentional in creating a space for what you really want to do. Even half hour of doing what you love will put you in a totally different mindset. And you will be less stressed about other things.
5) Do Meditation and Visualization
Spending even 10min on guided meditation and creative visualization can help you stay more mindful and relaxed throughout your day. Creating a positive mindset can help you tackle all the triggers you face during the day. Saying powerful Affirmations with visualization can help you get more focused and less stressed during the day.
4 Ways to Reduce Stress Physically
1) Reconnect with yourself through Physical Movement
Physical movement is important to get into the present moment and enjoy yourself.
Try Yoga to be more mindful of your emotions and strengthening your mind-body connection.
Do Zumba, Aerobics or just dance your heart out if you love more aggressive movements. This will help you shake your Energy and shift your mindset and be open to new perspectives.
2) Detox your mind with Nutrition & intuitive Eating
Clean Eating = Clear Mind
Colorful Eating= Positive mind
Intuitive eating = Stress free Mind
The more clean and colorful food you eat the more clarity and positivity you attract in your mental space. Sometimes indigestion can cause a lot of unwanted stress. Or even food choices can become stressful if you feel like you are overweight or underweight.
Try Intuitive Eating. Eat what your body needs. Pay attention to what your body craves not what your mind.
3) Honor your body through Rest & Relaxation
Rest & relaxation is how you give yourself much needed time to recuperate through an exhaustion be it physical or emotional. If you don't allow your body to rest then you are stressing your body, mind and spirit. This results in premature aging and manifestation of various dis-eases.
Just let your body rest and your mind will be rejuvenated and you'll feel less stressed.
4) Cultivate Self-Love by awakening your inner Goddess
The more we love ourselves the more happy and content we feel.
We stress less because we understand that we have the power to overcome anything with self-love and self-care. Spend more time caring for yourself and loving yourself the way you deserve.
Have a relaxing bath or a massage with Pure Aromatherapy body oil, or diffusing essential oils in your space.
Being stressed affects our facial muscles and can accelerate aging and dull our skin.
To increase blood flow try a rose quartz roller or jade roller. Also have a facial or do a facial yoga routine.
Being stressed also affects our delicate eye area as more darkness can be found under the eyes. Limit blue light radiation and use cooling eye patches to increase blood flow.
